It has been a long time since the last layout video, here is a look at what has changed and tour of what it looks like now plus some ideas for the next steps. I later found out it was -5 when I filmed this and I could see my breath as I spoke!
A short update on the layout, mainly about the bridge line along the back of the station. Sorry this video is so late, after filming the roof started to leak and we had to get the entire roof replaced on the layout building. This video was filmed before all that happened but not edited, and it got pushed back. This is also the reason I have not uploaded much recently. Next video I’ll talk about that a bit and hopefully have some progress on the layout.
It has been a while since the last update, not much progress this time around as I have been too busy with work and repairing the building the layout is in. Sorry for the muffled sound, I used a new microphone for this episode but it appears it didn’t work right, I tried to correct most of it in software but still a bit off. Winter running session, with a class BR 58 / ‘Bone’ and a GP60 in SP livery. Not much work done over the winter period but you maybe able to spot some of the progress. I will record a layout update some time later.
In this update I talk about activity over the summer including building a Metcalf Station building, the retaining walls behind the station area, and the tunnels.
